Prelude to the Journey- January 3, 2011

As some of you already know I embark on an incredible adventure to Belize leaving January 8^th and return February 22^nd to experience and utilize my art or should I say passion with the video camera.  This is a journey to receive and send back the knowledge in the hopes of explaining better this magical and perhaps mystical country that I fell in love with from the first time I was there.

 To start, I am a fervent believer that a picture is worth a thousand words and couple that with my love for music I hope I can express the content in an entertaining and informational way.

Secondly, coming from a public access background – only now I’m world wide (look out world) you may see me explaining some of the sights and sounds in my corky/dorky way that is indeed my nature.

At any rate I plan on having fun with this project and hope all who views these excerpts will enjoy it too!

My friend and traveling companion for the first two weeks, Linda Paulson and I will arrive in Belize City in the early afternoon and head directly to Placencia.  We plan on staying there for a week and then head to Caye Caulker for another week.  After that, I’m not sure where I will head to but definitely plan on staying flexible and keep all of you posted.

In the meantime, I found a few snap shots from previous trips and even a little video clip to wet your whistles.
